NGOs need books for their libraries. MEDIN mostly need books for children (and
young adults) in Greek, English, Arabic and OKANA needs mostly books for adults

Μετά από την συγκέντρωση των προσφορών όλων των συναδέλφων στο ALBA η επιτροπή Goodcitizenship προχώρησε σε συνεννόηση με την Υπηρεσία "Βοήθεια στο Σπίτι" του Δήμου Βούλας και Βάρης στην υποστήριξη των 2 οικογενειών που επιλέχθηκαν με ψηφοφορία μέσα από το μπλόγκ. Οι οικογένειες παρέλαβαν δωροεπιταγές από Σούπερ Μάρκετ, πλήθος τροφίμων και αγαθών, καθώς και εξασφάλιση ενοικίου ενός μήνα, συνολικής αξίας 650 ευρώ. Οι οικογένειες ευχαρίστησαν θερμά τους εργαζόμενους του ALBA.
Η επιτροπή Goodcitizenship έχει διατηρήσει επικοινωνία με τις 2 οικογένειες για να εξασφαλίσει την κάλυψη και άλλων μελλοντικών αναγκών. Η επιτροπή ευχαριστεί όλους όσους συμμετείχαν στην προσπάθεια αυτή και σας διαβεβαιώνει ότι οι μικρές προσφορές σας έπιασαν τόπο και είναι πραγματικά πολύτιμες!!!

Την ημέρα της Χριστουγεννιάτικης εορτής στο ALBA οι εργαζόμενοι προσέφεραν συνολικά για φιλανθρωπικούς σκοπούς 572 Ευρώ. Από αυτά τα χρήματα πάνω από 150 Ευρώ δόθηκαν από συναδέλφους αντί της αγοράς δώρου γενεθλίων της συναδέλφου Μαρίνας Γρυλλάκη, κάτι το οποίο είχε η ίδια ζητήσει πριν τις γιορτές. Η επιτροπή GoodCitizenship είναι σε επικοινωνία με τοπικούς φορείς για την εύρεση συνανθρώπων μας που έχουν σοβαρά προβλήματα διαβίωσης. Τα χρήματα θα διατεθούν για την αγορά αγαθών που θα ανακουφίσουν τις ανάγκες αυτών των ανθρώπων. Σύντομα θα γνωρίζουμε κάποιες εναλλακτικές και όλοι οι εργαζόμενοι θα έχουν την δυνατότητα να επιλέξουν μέσα από το ιστολόγιο ποιες περιπτώσεις να στηρίξουμε .
Με λύπη θα θέλαμε να σας πληροφορήσουμε ότι η γιαγιούλα που είχαμε ενισχύσει πρόπερσι τα Χριστούγεννα και που με πολύ συγκίνηση είχε δεχτεί την προσφορά μας δεν είναι πλέον στην ζωή.
Σας ενημερώνουμε ότι το ταμείο αλληλεγγύης παραμένει ανοιχτό για όσους θέλουν να συνεισφέρουν κατά την διάρκεια της χρονιάς.

The mission of ALBA’s Good Citizenship is the initiation, organization and / or contribution to activities that enhance societal wellbeing and the public good, excluding activities that relate to the provision of the core services, namely education and research on business administration and any activities that ensure the provision of these services at the highest quality and ethical standards.

- Philanthropy including: Volunteerism, Employee Giving
- Community Involvement: Partnership in the Local Community, Global CommunityInvolvement
- Environment: Recycling Efforts, , engagement in Water Conservation and Quality, “Forest Friendly” Practices, Green Building, awarentess of Alternative Energy Sources, Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Conservation
- Health: Any events and contributions that relate to Health issues
- Human Rights: Child Labor Policies, Discrimination Policies, Health and Safety, Codes of Conduct
- Informative Events and Training on Good Citizenship Areas/Topics: Any events that raise awareness on social responsibility / good citizenship issues
